Aliya and Zeeshan’s ill-fated wedding in Beintehaa might have brought a lot of drama to our television screens. In addition to that, it also showed a lot of style as we got a glimpse of Muslim wedding finery in the show. Let’s take a look at who wore what in the wedding.
Aliya’s haldi- Aliya, who is normally dressed in a salwar kameez, ditched her regular costumes for a bright yellow dress with a striking neckline. The simple floral ornaments added a different glow to the blushing bride.
Aliya’s sangeet- It was a sangeet in honour of Aliya, so she definitely had to stand out from the rest. And stand out she did, with a very pretty pink gharara with gold borders. Her heavily embroidered dupatta and traditional ornaments added a touch of festivity to her look.
Zain at Aliya’s sangeet- Zain hated the multi-coloured traditional jacket that he had to wear, but we think it suited his tall frame quite well. The normally casually dressed Zain was seen in a yellow kurta with blue patiala trousers. The long jacket made Zain look like he was a part of the celebration, though grudgingly.
Shabana at the wedding- She’s the mother of the bride, and it was her day to shine. But as a woman of simple tastes, she chose a purple silk gharara with a gold and orange dupatta. Her jewellery included a jadau necklace and maangtika, which complemented the outfit.
Zeeshan at the wedding- Zeeshan played the part of the groom perfectly with a red and gold sherwani. He also wore a dull golden turban and sehra, but sadly that was only for masking his evil intentions with Aliya.
Suraiya at the wedding- Suraiya is a woman with expensive likes, and this was very evident in the wedding. Suraiya looked very regal in her red saree paired with a rich blue blouse.
Ghulam at the wedding- Ghulam is the father of the bride, but he is also a very simple man. He wore a simple grey sherwani with a black traditional cap, which offset all the colour the ladies brought into the wedding.
Osman at the wedding- Osman Abdullah was one of the most dignified guests at the wedding. His personality was enhanced by the black bandhgala that he wore, and also gave him an air of seriousness.
