India’s Got Talent crowns Bivash Academy of Dance as winners!

After months of intense competition and inspiring live performances, India’s Got Talent crowned Bivash Academy of Dance as the winner of its fourth season Saturday night! Bivash Kids from its home in Kolkata, beat out thousands of acts, including finalists like the aerial act performers – Mukesh and Tanya, sufi singer – Deep Raj, the gymnasts – Acrobatic Boys, Opera singer, Toshan, sand artist Nitish Bharti and Kirron Kher’s favourites, Ocean Kids. To take home the coveted title of India’s Got Talent, grand prize of 50 lakhs and a Maruti. For the first time ever the show has seen kids as winners of the show. The grand finale show of India’s Got Talent featured a night of jam-packed performances and special guest stars, including Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif & Anushka Sharma.
Led by their choreographer Bivash Choudhary, Shonali Majumdar (7 years) and Maraju Sumanth (13 years) are the small wonders of India’s Got Talent. Coming from a humble background, Shonali and Sumanth had only one motto in mind – to dance! Now, having danced their way to the judges and people’s hearts, the Bivash kids today have mesmerized the audiences with various forms of acrobatics along with Salsa which has left the judges spell bound. With them giving the kids standing ovations and calling them ‘small wonders’, Shonali and Sumanth truly deserved to be the winners of India’s Got Talent.
Talking about their win, Bivash Choudhary said, “When we came as the runners up last season, it really was heart wrenching. This season, we wanted to give it more than our 100 percent and now the efforts have paid off. India’s Got Talent is one of the best shows for talent and to be the winner of such a show, it feels like we have achieved it all! India’s Got Talent has given us everything we could have asked for, they have made us stars!”
Speaking about the show, Manisha Sharma, Weekend Programming Head, COLORS said, “India’s Got Talent this season has broken all records in terms of the gamut of entertainment that we have presented. The show has produced many winners and changed lives, making it a platform that is a front runner in promoting talent. We are happy to have been part of so many success stories.” 
As the curtains come down on India’s Got Talent, the other entertainers who made it a stellar show are the eccentric show hosts, Manish Paul and Cyrus Sahukar and the trio talent masters – celebrated director, Karan Johar, veteran actor, Kirron Kher and choreographer cum director turned actor, Farah Khan with dancing diva Malaika Arora Khan who made a special appearance early in the show. 
The judges were elated with the performances they witnessed in the entire season. Being a part of the show during the audition phase, Maliaka Arora Khan said, “Although I was there only during the initial audition stages, I consider myself lucky to have witnessed such outstanding talent and been instrumental in having seen their journey.”
Karan Johar added, ”I come from the film industry and since childhood have seen some amazing talents in the industry but India’s Got Talent has shown me a completely different side of the caliber that rests in our country. It is show that encourages talent in all its forms and we need more shows like this where we showcase brilliance that is the future of our country.”
Kirron Kher who has been with the show since its inception commented, “India's Got Talent brings a sense of pride in me, it's a great honour to be on the show that presents the country's best and unknown talent. I must admit this is a truly genuine platform that produces many Talents”
Talking about India’s Got Talent, Anupama Mondloi, Head of Content, Freemantle media commented, “For a concept like India’s Got Talent, the contestants are the real heroes. While we are celebrating this season to be our best ever, the credit for the same goes to the contestants. Our endeavor has always been to surprise the audience with something they have never seen and this has been possible because our contestants have pushed the boundaries with every act, making the show what it is today.”
With an endeavor to bring unexplored and hidden talent, India’s Got Talent this season broke new grounds as it brought talent from not only the length, breadth but also the depth of the country. And now as the season comes to an end, this season’s winners, Bivash Kids get a new lease of life to further their talent in the country!
