How did you get the role of Barkat?
I had auditioned for another show and I was about to start shooting for it. But then I got a call that I have been short listed to play Barkat. It was a surprise. I did not even go back home, I shot for the promo very same day.
Tell us about your character Barkat?
Barkat is the long lost daughter of Osmaan and Suraiya. She was kidnapped by Mir Khan when she was too Two-year-old. She has been raised in a basti but Zain and Aaliya find her and take her back to the Barkat Villa. She reunites with the family. But for her all of it is very sudden and surprising. She is not able to relate to things in the house.
Now that Barkat has re-united to the family, what is going to happen?
It’s going to be an emotional time for the family. Barkat is very new to the Abdullah family and she will feel confused.
Beintehaa is a popular show, how does it feel to be a part of it?
I am so glad to be a part of it. I have a cameo still I took it as Beintehaa is one of the most popular shows on TV right now. I am falling in love with my character each day and I so wish I could be a part of Beintehaa forever. It’s also special for me as I made a come back on Colors.
