A story of 2 film students, Ali and Sameer, who travel the country to meet families of armymen who have sacrificed their lives for the country. They meet an army widow, Kuljeet Kaur (Priety Zinta), the wheelchair-using former Air Force pilot Vikram Shergill (Sunny Deol) and Dr. and Mrs. Naqvi, who have lost their son to war. The story is about how these meetings change their lives.
