Every actor looks up to someone in life from whom they draw inspiration. Be it SRK who is known to be the legend Dilip Kumar of his times or Shahid Kapoor who has followed SRK’s footsteps. Everybody have their own favorites and Drashti Dhami is no different.

Drashti, who herself is playing the role of a film star in Colors new show Madhubala, is  a die-hard fan of the effervescent Madhuri Dixit. She is a self-confessed Madhuri follower and says the actress is the most beautiful woman. “Madhuri Dixit is my favorite actress. The way she dances and her expressions, simply mind blowing!”

Undoubtedly Madhuri is the Dancing Queen of Bollywood and nobody can even come close to her but our Drashti is catching-up fast. Having been a professional dance instructor, Drashti has appeared in many music videos. Her debut album was Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re by Harry Anand and has done many more music albums until she entered the world of television. Having played some successful characters in the past, Drashti can definitely be called the Diva of Telly World.

Now, by playing the title role in Madhubala, Drashti has got a chance to showcase her talent and play her role-model in the reel sense. She commented, “This show focuses on showing the real lives of film stars. What they do, what they like and things as such. I am excited and hope my fans like me in this avatar.”
